Eliot Klein, LPC, MT-BC Music Therapist and KAP Therapist
Eliot Klein, LPC, MT-BC, (he/his) is a licensed professional counselor and board-certified music therapist. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, his integrated approach emphasizes creativity, expression, relationships and connection. He works with individuals, couples and groups from a perspective of harm reduction, systemic awareness and cultural humility. He is experienced working with people of all ages who identify as having a variety of conditions, including: PTSD, trauma (individual, legacy, systemic), depression, anxiety, addictions (substance or process), OCD, bipolar disorder, chronic pain, and relationship issues. He received a master's degree in Music Therapy and Counseling from Drexel University in 2019 and was granted the Dean’s Clinical Service Award for work with underserved members of the community. He has received training in KAP from Voyage Healing and has practiced KAP there since 2021, and has practiced at Healing Hearts Therapy since 2023.
While at Drexel, he developed a strong interest in the overlaps between psychedelic therapies and music therapy as powerful treatments for encouraging peak experiences and processing emotions, memories, thought patterns, and trauma. Music is an important part of the psychedelic experience, and Eliot can work fluently with this element in addition to traditional psychotherapeutic exchanges.
Since 2019, Eliot has worked primarily with individuals in crisis, facilitating groups and individual sessions at the Horsham Clinic. Eliot also has a background treating substance use. He has received training in psychedelic therapy from SoundMind Center and Voyage Healing.
